Zzyzx Anniversary

On Zzyzx road- one year more,
writing to move farther than before,
shooting for the stars with lyrical arrows,
attempting to make a mythical ladder
that takes us to legendary lands of lore.
With song and word we get closer to that place, where
words last longer than the first sound of yonder,
making ink-wash paintings of meanings and dream,
hoping these humble writings last a bit longer,
and continue to move along that endless shore.
